Admission

You will be helping out with the admissions desks at the show. Adults will be taking the actual admission fees ($2 per person, no discount for senior citizens, and kids under 12 free). Students will be stamping hands and handing out show maps, or serving as runners in case someone needs anything.

This year we will be polling customers to see where they heard about the show. This is VERY important; we spend a lot of money on advertising and need to know where to spend it. Please ask everyone where they heard about us!

Please dress warmly, as you’ll be working near an open door. Wear a band shirt and remember to smile and represent the band well. It will be a good idea for you to arrive a bit early and walk through the show once, just so you have an idea of what’s where.

REMEMBER to SIGN IN and SIGN OUT. You should have a name tag, and remind others to sign in and out as well. We cannot credit you for working unless you’re properly signed in and out. Remember that you, or someone working on your behalf, need a total of SIX HOURS to earn a share of show proceeds.

You will be given a “free pop” ticket when you arrive. You can use this at the food concession. If you are staying for several shifts, you will also be entitled to a free meal. Please do not abuse this privilege. Sign out and back in again while you take your break, and be considerate as to when you take a break. If we’re very busy, wait until later. The food concession will close at 3:30 pm or so.
