The annual Crafters' Clearance show is one of the Instrumental Music Boosters' largest fundraisers. We encourage participation from any and all students and their families and friends! This is a great way to earn money for your student's account, support the music programs, and have a great time in the process!

I will need several people to assist with artist sign-in and management at the show and setup. Please if you are able to help out with this!

The main sign-ups are circulated at December and January booster meetings, and a student sign-up posted in the bandroom in December. All told, we need to fill 14 coordinator/assistant positions, 70 adult shifts, and 90 student shifts, so your help is vital! If you are unable to make it to booster meetings but would like to sign up to work, please

Workers will be needed on the afternoon and evening of Friday, February 8, 2008, to set up the show, as well as before, during, and after the show on Saturday, February 9. In addition, there are several areas where help would be appreciated before the show; please if you'd like to help out but are unavailable the weekend of the show!

Volunteer positions include something for everyone:

Got an entrepreneurial streak? Our food concession needs planners!
Chatty Cathy? Phone help is needed!
Have you always dreamed of a career in broadcasting? We need people to run the PA system!
Need exercise? Sign up to help artists load and unload!
Are you an avid outdoorsman? The parking lot is for you!
Love to mix and mingle? We need gregarious folks to assist artists and shoppers!
Bossy? Student supervision is needed!
Wheelchair-bound, or just plain lazy? We've got sit-down positions, too!

Again, if you have any questions, please .
All positions have printed job descriptions, so you can find out exactly what you're getting into before you sign up.

Booster parents and other volunteers are welcome to attend our planning meetings in October, January and early February. If you're interested, and I'll fill you in on the dates and times.
